MCGIVES!
We are proud that AFRP has once again been selected as a participating non-profit in MCGives! 2024 and this year we’re launching “Harmony of the Heart: Healing Animals through Mind, Body and Soul” as our Big Idea.
From now through December 31st, you can help support AFRP by making a donation through the Community Foundation for Monterey County, and here's the best part: a portion of your gifts will be matched by CFMC, increasing the impact of your support!
All funds raised through this campaign will provide essential resources and training to help those animals who have experienced emotional trauma, as well as for animals who have suffered physical injuries and trauma. Additionally, funds will be used to support our foster families, enabling them to continue their important work in nurturing and rehabilitating our program animals.
AFRP's core mission revolves around the rescue and support of our local shelter animals, particularly those in dire need of help, whether it’s due to sickness, injury, or a simple longing for some extra love and care. Your participation in"Harmony of the Heart" can change lives and bring hope to those who need it most.
Adopt Samson
Samson is a sweet love bug searching for his furever home! He adores tummy rubs and chin scritches. This three-legged cutie does not let anything slow him down, and he's quite the acrobat according to his fosters! Samson would make an amazing addition to a playful household!
Adopt Willow
Willow is a joyful, playful pup who loves everyone she meets! She's great on her harness but can get excited when she sees new friends. Fetch is her favorite game, and she’s always ready to chase a ball with sparkling eyes. Willow would be the best playmate around!
Changing Lives, One Animal at a Time ❤️
Every Life Counts
AFRP rescues over 1,200 cats and dogs each year. We play a unique role in our community by rescuing the animals that are most at risk in the shelter environment: the underage, nursing, senior, injured, shy and overlooked animals.
